Frequently asked questions
Why should I pay for this when there are free revision sites like Seneca or BBC Bitesize?
We love those sites for learning definitions and basic facts (AO1)! However, the Edexcel exam is won or lost on Analysis and Evaluation. Most free sites focus on multiple-choice questions. We focus on the 6, 9, and 12-mark questions. We don't just ask "What is a risk?"; we teach you the "Chain Stacker" method to explain exactly how that risk leads to business failure.
How is this different from a standard GCSE Business textbook?
Textbooks are great for reading, but they are "passive." Our platform is active. Instead of just reading a model answer, you use our Interactive Reordering Tasks to physically build the answer yourself. This trains your brain to think like an examiner, ensuring the structure becomes second nature before you walk into the exam hall.
I already watch revision videos on YouTube. Do I still need this?
Watching a video is like watching someone else go to the gym—it doesn't make you stronger! Videos are excellent for understanding a concept, but our Mastery Pack is about output. We provide the "Logic Blueprints" and "Connective Banks" that you can't get from a video, helping you turn that "understanding" into a Grade 9 essay.
My child has incredible teachers and a private tutor. Is this relevant?
Our platform is designed to complement professional tuition, not replace it. Tutors are brilliant for personalised coaching, but they often spend valuable time re-teaching basic syllabus facts. Our blueprints handle the "content heavy lifting," allowing your tutor to focus on their real expertise: fine-tuning your child’s AO3 analysis and AO4 evaluation skills. It’s the ultimate resource to make a great tutoring investment work even harder.
Is this specifically for the Edexcel syllabus?
Yes. Many competitors try to cover AQA, OCR, and Edexcel all at once, which leads to "generic" advice. Our pack is built strictly for Pearson Edexcel. This means every case study in our Context Bank and every marking tip we give is 100% aligned with what the Edexcel examiner is looking for.
